Our November calendar of events is shaping up nicely. On the 14th, we will be meeting at the Whitehouse Inn (in Whitehouse Oh–just south of the Airport) at 6:30pm. We will be discussing our plans to participate in the Maumee Lights Parade (pictured above).
The event is on November 25th, Saturday, at 6pm. To participate, you must have lights or a lighted-float on your mini. No santa claus figures are allowed–due to them having one at the end of the parade. There will be a lot of children along the hour-long route to hand candy to, so bring a few bags of goodies to pass out. We will meet up in the former Anderson’s lot on Illinios and Ford to attach lights & decorate the MINI’s. Our goal is to leave the lot at about 5:45 and head down Ford Street to the parade staging area–just north of the Anthony Wayne Trail. If you arrive a late, say 5:50, as the police officer at the rail road tracks to let you by because you are in the parade.
After we parade, we’ll meet back at the Anderson’s lot, take off our lights and decorations, then head to a local eatery (TBD) for some post-parade food & drinks.
Hope to see you all there,
