Here’s an opportunity for all of you NOMO-ians to put it all on “red or black” and have a fun trip. The plan is to head up to FireKeepers Casino in Battlecreek, MI(about 2 hrs away) on Sunday morning…..not overnight like originally planned.
We’ll meet for breakfast on Sunday, 9/20, at 9am Charlies on central Avenue in Sylvania about 1.5 miles west of 23/475– where they have half off breakfasts.
If we leave by 10, we can get there by noon and maybe stay til about 5, then possibly get dinner on the way home.
We might also be joined by other groups, i.e. flint, Ftwayne, grand rapids, maybe NW Indy too.
More than 1,300 Mini Coopers gathered for Mini on the Mack, a parade across the Mackinac Bridge in Mackinaw City, Michigan, to break the English-held world record for largest-ever Mini Cooper parade. The parade was organized by Mini of Grand Rapids, with the support of Mini USA, and has become the perfect way to bring the community of car owners together.
Toledo area NOMO club had a good showing of members that made the trip with Mini owners from Cleveland to Mackinaw and had a great weekend.
The Today show reported about the event which can be found at this link:

We parked in the Waterville Historic association lot across the street to display the Minis to everyone passing through town while we are meeting.
Okay folks, here’s the parking area for Tuesday night’s meeting….at the corner of Anthony Wayne Trail & Farnsworth Street. It’s right across the street from Chowders n Moor. Hope to see you there around 6:30. Our reservation is for 7pm.
